Elegant example of nineteenth-century Villa-Farm, one of the few remaining in the area, with a past that refers to the family of Pia Tolomei, La Pescaia Resort is a paradise protected by over six thousand ancient olive trees, pristine forests and hidden paths for lovers of walking and of the horseback riding, an activity that has always been linked to Villa Tolomei.
Recently taken over and managed today by two young and passionate sisters of Milanese origin - Beatrice and Margherita Ramella - together with their husbands Gonzalo and Mariano, supported by a young and motivated international staff, almost exclusively "under 40", the estate is the ideal place for nature lover guests looking for an authentic and sophisticated experience.
With only 14 rooms and 2 apartments, with elegant "family" interiors, a spectacular swimming pool created from the ancient "pescaia" pools and its well-kept gardens on which the centuries-old cedar stands out in the middle of the farmyard courtyard, the Resort offers an atmosphere that is always private and relaxed, suspended in time and farthest from daily pressure.
A "home" restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, offers local recipes and dishes prepared with organic vegetables from the garden and products of the highest quality, served "al fresco" under the pergola of the large terrace or in the halls of the villa, when the weather does not allow it, between paintings, objects and images that tell a splendid story.
